An epidemiologist specializing in maternal and neonatal health, environmental impacts, and quality improvement interventions spanning over two decades of experience.

His work integrates methodological rigor with advanced analytical expertise, producing publications in high-impact journals, several of which have drawn international media coverage. An international background spanning India, the United Kingdom, and the United States has strengthened his ability to collaborate across cultures and disciplines.

Two decades directing public health research across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. Principal Investigator on national and international studies.

In 2019, reducing ambient and household PM2.5 exposure during pregnancy to a minimum risk level could have prevented almost 2.8 million low-birth-weight and 5.9 million preterm births across 204 countries and territories.
